Parc La Gabelle
The La Gabelle nature park is located on the site of the hydroelectric power station of the same name. You can take the hiking trail along the Saint-Maurice River, enjoy the view from the belvedere, launch your watercraft and fish for walleye and sturgeon.
In winter, you can also practice snowshoeing.
The main entrance to the trail is on the Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel side, near the La Gabelle dam.
Please note that sport fishing is prohibited in this area from April 1 to June 14.
