The Chutes et Marais Site is a natural environment where salmon are retained for the purpose of protection. On site, you can observe the salmon in its environment and enjoy nature.
You will have access to interpretation trails, observation promontories, a discovery center as well as relaxation and picnic areas. The path linking the Marais sector to the Chutes sector runs along the Causapscal river and will allow you to fully enjoy the site. The walk takes about 50 minutes.
Please note that the best time to spot salmon is in the early afternoon, as this is when the river is most illuminated by the sun.
Entrance to the site is free, however, you are welcome to make a donation. Dogs on a leash are welcome, but are not allowed inside the buildings.
