Parc Bois-de-l'Île-Bizard

Region name

Montréal, Québec

Description

The Bois-de-l'Île-Bizard nature park is an ideal destination to observe a diverse flora and fauna.

You will discover marshes and swamps, a belvedere offering a view of Lac des Deux Montagnes and forests of maple and cedar trees. A long footbridge crossing the large marsh will allow you to observe frogs, turtles, ducks, muskrats and, with luck, a beaver.

Hiking trails are accessible there, as well as nautical activities such as canoeing and kayaking.

Parking fees are to be expected.
