Located on the shores of the St. Lawrence River, the Jacques-Cartier Beach Park extends over more than 3 km, from the Cap-Rouge nautical park to the Pierre-Laporte Bridge. 

You will find a large sandy and pebble beach, several walking trails offering magnificent views of the surroundings as well as several picnic areas set up in a wooded area. In winter, the main trail is accessible by snowshoes. 

Two parking lots are available free of charge: one is on Pavilion Road and the other is located at the water park. There are also sanitary facilities. 

Access is free and leashed dogs are welcome!

At an altitude of 485 m, Mont-Bélair is one of the highest points in the Quebec City region and offers splendid views.

A network of hiking trails, with sidewalks on stilts, has been developed around Lake Boivin and near the wetlands. At Mont-Bélair Nature Park, you can also enjoy mountain biking, wildlife observation, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, among other activities. 

Access to the park is on de la Découverte Street, at the corner of de la Montagne Ouest Avenue.
