Located near the town of Whitney, between Georgian Bay and the Ottawa River, Algonquin Provincial Park offers a wide selection of hiking and biking trails. It also offers plenty of outdoor activities including world famous trout fishing, camping, bird watching, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and skating. You will have the opportunity to camp in comfortable yurts.

The park is open year-round. The interior of the park is accessible by canoe or on foot. There is also a second Algonquin Park - along the 56 kilometer stretch of Highway 60. Dogs on leashes are welcome but are prohibited in certain areas, including beaches.
